Here is a super quick and easy way to create a DIY Feather Hoodie, you can do it yourself at home! Hope you enjoy!

Materials:

  1. Hoodie
  2. Scissors
  3. Needle and Thread
  4. Ostrich Feather Trim
  5. 20 Sew-on Snaps

STEP

1

feather trim measuring

Trace the feather trim onto the hoodie for the correct length.

excess removal

Cut the excess of the feather trim.

STEP

snap-on preparation

Turn the end of the sweater inside out to attach the snap on.

STEP

ball-side of snap-on

Get your sew-on snaps and attach the ball-side of it onto the hoodie.

threading

Thread the needle with a 24 inches long thread.

STEP

sewing

Insert threaded needle into fabric and take a small “bite” of the fabric and bring needle up, pulling thread through fabric.

button-side of snap-on

Sew button side of the snap on on the feather trim.

STEP

next snap-on

Snap the first snap-on, the measure out where the next one needs to be.

STEP

all of the snap-on

Do this on the rest until your done with the all of the snap on.

finishing touch

 Repeat the process on the other side of the hoodie. And there you have it.
